hi !! its been like three months since i wrote again, sorry LOL. but now its time to talk about my old ass macbook pro (from 2009 !!!) my dad bought it in america at that time to do his work on it, but a few years ago he bought a new macbook so theres no use for this one anymore, and i begged him to give it to me and he did !!! i covered it in stickers and put all my bullshit on it. and it might actually be the best thing ever. but a big problem is that the battery life is so terrible that it needs to be charged 24/7 and it overheats easily and sounds like a jet engine. i wanna get that fixed and give it a new battery but idk if thats worth it or if i can trust anyone cause this laptop means alot to me and it will genuinley break my heart if it broke or stopped working T__T and by the way, this operating system is snow leopard !! it even came with two wallpapers of snow leopards and i think thats pretty cute ^^

the image on the right is what the desktop looks like, and that wallpaper of the greatest horror anime ever created obviously (MADOKA MAGICA !!!!) with my games that i was able to get working with a miracle. (they are kinda slow, the most FPS i got was 60...) Mac OS was never built for gaming anyways so i wont be too hard on it for that, and plus its 17 years old too... i was shocked that undertale worked though ^^ unfortunatley half-life is extremley laggy and low quality so i never play it but evreything else works!! portal 1 and 2 both work but in portal 1, theres a puzzle that requires timing that gets laggy so its impossible to beat so i just skip that one. the final bosses work with little lagging ^__^ the cutscenes are a bit slow but you can still watch them fine. ive played them both a few times ^__^ ive gotten my games from alot of scources, internet archive and mac garden.. sometimes random russian piracy sites

heres my apps, theres alot of adobe stuff that is pre installed to this, and also microsoft office 2004 for mac with those jelly icons that the frutiger aero community was obsessing over a while ago. idk why theres so much random stuff pre installed but at least i get adobe products for free so maybe thats a win? also i really like the old mac icons, theyre so beautiful and shiny!!! also the tiny icons on the settings app ARE SO CUTE!!! and i find the settings app on this to be easier to navigate than the one on windows 7.... sorry ;w; and also bluetooth still works !!! thats so awesome i just need an ipod and iphone from this same era but its so old that its harder to find currently ^__^; i will find a way

and iTunes still works!! the online store dosent work anymore because it was connected to a server that no longer exists but you can just put any Mp3 and you can still listen to that!!! even the visualiser is really really cool!! i wish newer tech was like this but i think its just because all this cool stuff was too expensive and too much trouble too keep doing so its much simpler now. the only thing i like about the more recent macs is how light they are, the diffrent colours and the tiny screen on the keyboard but thats really it ;w; also the reason they got rid of the glowing apple logo was because the apple logo was actually a hole that they cut through the laptop and the light from it came from the screen, and since macs were getting thinner they cant just be cutting holes anymore because it had a risk of snapping in half so they got rid of the glow completley.... its sad but i get it

heres some additional pictures, like the apple logo glowing, the info, and the fact this has a missing key.(i still have the key i just dont know how to put it in) also it looks like the last time this got a software update was 2011 !! intresting ^^ unfortunatley snow leopard is not supporrted by apple anymore in 2014 so its all outdated, i was able to get a browser called interweb that was made for snow leopard (its that blue globe icon) so now i can actally accsess modern websites (plus neocities!!!) i still use it to code when im away from home ^__^ its cool how theres still people who care about snow leopard after all these years, even that version of minecraft was made specifaccly to work on it!!! thats all i wanted to say, until next time :^]
